KidKet didn't start in a boardroom. It started with a fussy baby, a mark left behind by a "soft" cotton onesie, and a parent up at 2 a.m. reading fabric labels instead of sleeping.
Most kidswear is built for the shelf, not the skin. Regular cotton grows white, then gets stripped and re-colored with harsh bleach and synthetic dyes — chemicals that never fully wash out, sitting directly against a baby's most sensitive skin.
So we went looking for something better, and found it growing in nature: cotton that comes out of the ground already in color, and bamboo fiber soft enough to be called the silk of textiles. That discovery became KidKet.
